Tier 1 and /or 2 qualification approved by ASIC to meet the requirements of Rg146 combining insurance broking, general insurance, generic knowledge and skills.
Acceptable documentary evidence will be a certificate of completion of an ASIC approved Tier 1 and/or 2 training course since 1995; or written evidence of assessment by an assessor listed in the ASIC Training Register (available to those with at least five years relevant experience over the preceding 8 years).
Upon appointment Smart Business Insurance advisers are also required to:
Completion of a Training Needs Schedule which will identify the tasks and functions performed by the individual, and facilitate the planning of on-going training.
